STAINLESS STEEL TROLLEY & CONTAINER WEIGHING
CS-BIN Low-Profile Trolley Scale with Neutron NT
Roll on. Weigh. Record.
CS-BIN is a complete stainless steel scale for weighing trolleys and containers in food and pharmaceutical production. A 40 mm low-profile platform with an integrated access ramp simplifies loading, while the included Neutron NT touchscreen indicator brings weighing, identification and connected data workflows to the operator.
Designed for trolleys and production containers
The AISI 304 stainless steel platform measures 610 × 580 × 40 mm (L × W × H). Four stainless steel load cells with IP67 protection support everyday industrial weighing. AISI 316 construction is available on request.
- Integrated access ramp for easy roll-on loading
- Six weighing configurations up to 150 or 300 kg
- Four stainless steel load cells, accuracy class OIML R60 C3
- Complete solution with Neutron NT indicator included
Neutron NT: a connected weighing workstation
The 7-inch touchscreen Neutron NT indicator combines clear weight display with gross/net weighing, tare management, checkweighing, parts counting and recipe workflows. Integrated databases help organise products, customers, orders, batches and operators.
Connect optional barcode readers, RFID readers, receipt or label printers and the CS-CAM-SO camera module to build a workstation around your production process. Record container tare, identify an article or batch and associate weighing results with your workflow.
Everyday weighing with Neutron NT
- Gross/net weighing and trolley tare: tare the empty trolley or enter a known tare manually to display the net contents weight.
- Clear operator display: a 7-inch touchscreen, enlarged weight view and configurable indicator layouts keep the weighing result easy to read.
- Parts counting: determine quantities from a representative reference sample and the average piece weight.
- Identification and records: use product, customer and operator data alongside weighing results; optional barcode and RFID readers simplify data entry and operator identification.
- Printing and data exchange: connect optional receipt or label printers and exchange data using Excel/CSV and system integrations.
Checkweighing: keep every container within tolerance

Set a target weight and lower and upper limits. Neutron NT shows whether the load is below, within or above the accepted range, helping the operator add or remove material before the trolley moves to the next production stage.
Example: tare an empty trolley and check a 25 kg net batch against limits of 24.8–25.2 kg. Use the on-screen status to recognise underweight, acceptable and overweight loads quickly.
Recipe weighing: prepare consistent production batches
Use the Neutron NT recipe application to prepare multi-ingredient batches directly in a trolley or production container. Follow the recipe ingredients and their target quantities on the touchscreen, weighing each component in sequence for a repeatable preparation process.
Example: tare the mixing trolley, then weigh flour, sugar and other ingredients according to the selected recipe. The operator follows the component targets while preparing the batch in the same container.
For IT teams and system integrators
Connect weighing data with ERP, MES, WMS, PLC and production-monitoring systems. Neutron NT supports local and cloud integration through interfaces and protocols including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT, REST API, OPC UA and Modbus. Ethernet and additional communication interfaces depend on the selected hardware configuration.
Local OPC UA and cloud MQTT can operate simultaneously: use weighing data in local automation while retaining remote monitoring and management through the free Scale Monitor Cloud.

Frequently asked questions
Can CS-BIN check whether a trolley is within a target weight range?
Yes. Neutron NT checkweighing compares the net load with configured lower and upper limits and displays whether it is below, within or above the accepted range.
Can I weigh ingredients using a recipe?
Yes. The Neutron NT recipe application supports sequential weighing of recipe ingredients against their target quantities, making CS-BIN suitable for preparing batches in trolleys and containers.
What is the CS-BIN scale used for?
CS-BIN weighs trolleys and containers in food and pharmaceutical production, including incoming materials, batch preparation and production checks.
Is the Neutron NT indicator included?
Yes. All six listed configurations include the Neutron NT touchscreen weighing indicator.
How high is the weighing platform?
The platform is 40 mm high and has an integrated access ramp. Its dimensions are 610 × 580 × 40 mm.
Can I tare an empty trolley?
Yes. Use the Neutron NT tare function to subtract the empty trolley or container and display the net weight of its contents.
Can CS-BIN connect to ERP or PLC systems?
Yes. Neutron NT provides interfaces for integration with ERP, MES, WMS and automation systems, including REST API, MQTT, OPC UA and Modbus. Select communication hardware to suit your installation.
Is AISI 316 available?
Yes. The standard platform is AISI 304 stainless steel; AISI 316 is available on request.
What does OIML R60 C3 refer to?
It specifies the accuracy class of the load cells. It does not by itself establish legal-for-trade approval of the complete scale.
