Fast microwave moisture analysis
Designed for samples containing up to 100% moisture, the PMV 55Y with built-in Neutron CSL combines uniform microwave drying, precise mass measurement and secure digital connectivity. It is an excellent fit for food, dairy, meat, fish, fruit products, syrups, creams, liquid resins and other materials where conventional drying takes too long.

Microwaves distribute energy across the complete sample volume rather than heating only its surface. The sample is placed on a Ø90 mm glass-fibre filter, and moisture is calculated continuously from mass loss during drying. Compared with conventional halogen moisture analyzers, the PMV can significantly shorten the time needed to obtain a result.
Quick method selection, clear graphs, automatic reporting and touch-free shortcuts make routine testing easier.
Repeatable results, measurement history, ALIBI memory and controlled user access strengthen traceability.
Modern interfaces, Modbus TCP/IP and Neutron CSL simplify connection to laboratory and factory systems.
Built-in Neutron CSL
Neutron CSL is an embedded IIoT communication layer that converts analyzer output into standardized, usable data. It reduces manual transcription and provides a secure bridge to LIMS, ERP, MES, WMS and QMS, databases, dashboards and custom applications.
The 5Y terminal provides 2× USB-A, USB-C, RS-232, HDMI, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Hotspot. Modbus TCP/IP enables automation systems and PLCs to read mass and execute supported actions such as zeroing, taring and threshold configuration.
