3. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of products in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer unless expressly stated otherwise. It is an invitation to submit an order.
By clicking the button [“Buy now” / “Place order” / local wording], you submit a binding order for the goods in your shopping cart.
You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your order by email. This confirmation does not by itself mean that the contract has been concluded unless we explicitly state acceptance in that email or dispatch the goods.
We may refuse an order where there are legitimate reasons, including product unavailability, obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, or legal restrictions.
4. Customer account
If you create a customer account:
- you must provide accurate and complete information
- you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- you are responsible for activities carried out through your account unless caused by our fault
We may suspend or close accounts in cases of abuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.
5. Product information and availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices, and availability are accurate. Minor deviations may occur, particularly where products are handmade, customized, or subject to display differences on user devices.
If an ordered item is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund any payment received for unavailable items without undue delay.
6. Prices and payment
The prices and payment conditions stated on the website at the time of order apply.
All stated prices are inclusive or exclusive of VAT, as clearly indicated. Shipping costs and any additional charges are displayed before the order is completed.
Accepted payment methods are listed on the website and during checkout.
7. Delivery
Delivery is made to the address specified by the customer during checkout.
Delivery times are estimates unless a fixed delivery deadline has been expressly agreed.
If we are unable to deliver due to reasons beyond our reasonable control, we will inform you as soon as possible.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you are a consumer and buy goods or services online, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For goods, the period usually starts from the day you or a third party designated by you receives the goods. For services, it usually starts from the date of conclusion of the contract. Some exceptions apply.
Model withdrawal instruction
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us on:
Email: support@scale-monitor.com
or
PRECIZ d.o.o.
Cesta XIV. divizije 5
2000 Maribor, Slovenia
of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example by email or letter.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not apply, for example, to:
- goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized
- perishable goods
- sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery
- sealed audio, video, or software products once unsealed
- digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment of loss of the withdrawal right
You should verify the exact exceptions relevant to your products and your national implementation.
10. Legal guarantee and non-conformity
Consumers benefit from the statutory rights applicable under consumer sales law. In the EU, consumers generally have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or not as advertised. If a lack of conformity appears within 1 year of delivery, it is generally presumed to have existed at delivery unless proved otherwise, though some Member States may provide a longer period for this presumption.
If the goods are defective or not in conformity, you may be entitled under applicable law to have them repaired or replaced, or to receive an appropriate price reduction or refund.
This does not limit any mandatory statutory rights.
11. Commercial guarantees
If we offer any additional commercial guarantee, its conditions will be stated separately. A commercial guarantee does not limit or replace the statutory legal guarantee.
12. Promotions and price reductions
Promotional offers are valid only during the stated period and while stocks last.
Where we announce a price reduction, the reference prior price shown for that reduction will comply with applicable law. In the EU this generally means the lowest price applied during at least the previous 30 days before the reduction was introduced.
13. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product photographs, and design elements, is protected by intellectual property rights owned by us or licensed to us.
Use beyond normal browsing and shopping is not permitted without prior written consent, unless otherwise allowed by law.
14. Prohibited use of the website
You agree not to:
- use the website for unlawful purposes
- interfere with the website’s operation or security
- submit false orders or fraudulent payment information
- use bots, scraping tools, or automated means contrary to our reasonable technical protections or legal rights
- upload malicious code
15. Liability
We are liable without limitation where required by mandatory law, including for intent, gross negligence, fraud, or injury to life, body, or health.
In other cases, our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
16. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, governmental actions, transport disruptions, or failures of third-party infrastructure.
17. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us first:

We will try to resolve complaints directly and in good faith.
If required by applicable law or if we choose to participate, we will inform you about the competent consumer ADR body. The former EU ODR platform has been discontinued as of 20 July 2025.
18. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia (EU), excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection rules of the country of the consumer’s habitual residence apply.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected to the extent permitted by law.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms where necessary to reflect legal, technical, or commercial changes. The version applicable to your order is the version in force at the time of your order.
